How to Remove Metropolitan Police Computer Virus

Metropolitan Police Virus is a computer virus which comes in the computer due to visiting mostly pornography sides. This virus comes as warning screen and ask to pay £50 or £100. This virus mostly affect the computers in UK. This virus mostly seen is Windows Operating System.

This is completely SCAM , if you are affected with this virus nothing serious. ignore the payment it is asking for.

How to Remove this Virus :

                                      All Data will be Lost

Option 1:   Restore the Computer earlier good configuration

1. Restart the computer

2. Press F8 on Restart

3. From the menu select the "Safe mode with a Command prompt" option

4. At the command prompt type "cd store"

5. Press Enter in the keyboard

6. Type "rstrui.exe" and then press ENTER

7. System Restore window will appear and select the previous restore point 

8. When System Restore will complete reboot the computer

Option 2:   Format the computer and Re-install the windows

1. Make sure that you have windows CD/DVD
2. Insert the CD/DVD inside the disk drive
3. Restart the computer
4. Press F12 on restart
5. Select the CD/DVD drive to boot then hit enter in the keyboard 
   
6. Press any key to start
   
7. Follow the on screen instructions
8. Select the hard drive to install
9. Format the Hard Drive
10. Click Next
11. Follow the instruction until its finish the installation
