Basic troubleshooting for Completely dead laptop

When the Laptop is not working and it is completely dead it is best idea to give it for repair without checking it by yourself. Because may be the problem is very simple which can be solved easily.

Here what you can do before take it to the technician.

First plug in the Laptop with charger and check any light is coming in the laptop. 

a)If there is no light at all then-------------

First check the charger. If the charger has  light option , check first is there light when the charger plug into socket.

If the light  is on in the charger then the problem is in the laptop. 

If there is no light in the charger then the charger or charger cable is faulty.  

Check your charger with another working cable. If works then replace the cable or else replace the charger.

b)If  light is on in the laptop then-------------

Then problem in the laptop. Take it to the technician.
