How to Replace Hard Drive in DELL INSPIRON N5030

Removing or replacing Hard Drive in Dell Inspiron N5030 is not easy. DELL make it extremely difficult. Most of the laptop removing hard drive is much more easy. May be is need to remove 4/5 screws and hard drive cover. But this model removing hard drive is not that much easy.




Now I will explain step by step process to remove hard drive from DELL N5030

Almost same process to remove RAM, DVD Drive , Wireless card 


step process to remove hard drive from DELL N5030:

1. Tools Needed: Screw driver, spudger tool


2. Flip over the Laptop, unlock the battery lock and remove the battery




3. Remove all screws. There are about 15 screws


4. Flip over the laptop again. Take off the keyboard by unlocking keyboard lock. There are 3 locks - on top of key F1, F6 and Prntscr


5. Disconnect the keyboard data cable from the connector and then remove the keyboard


6. Unplug the power switch cable, speaker cable and touch pad from the connector


7. Take off the top panel



8. Now slide the hard drive and take off
