How to Remove BIOS set Hard Drive Password from Dell Laptop

Sometimes we may forget the password. It is really very difficult to remove or recover password. It is extremely difficult if the password is set in BIOS.



If you set  a password in your laptop hard drive using BIOS and you can't remember the password any more, you can the following options to remove the password.

OPTION 1 :

 Contact with Dell service center. They will help you to recover the password. When you will contact with them they will ask laptop service tag number. You will find it back side of the laptop.



OPTION 2 : 

This is the option if you can not find the solution from DELL and if you need your data. 

1. First Remove your Laptop Hard Drive
2. Connect the Hard Drive Externally with another Laptop or Computer




3. Save the data what you need in the Laptop or Computer
4. Format the Hard Drive
5. Replace the Hard Drive 
6. Install the new Windows in the Hard Drive

OPTION 3 : 

If option 1 and Option 2 doesn't help the you can apply this process.

In this process all your data will be lost


1. First Remove your Laptop Hard Drive
2. Connect the Hard Drive Externally with another Laptop or Computer




3. Format the Hard Drive
4. Replace the Hard Drive 
5. Install the new Windows in the Hard Drive

OPTION 3 : 

If none of the option mentioned above doesn't help then apply this option.

1. First Remove your Laptop Hard Drive
2. Insert brand new hard drive 
3. Install the new Windows in the Hard Drive
